Thank you for 11-12 ELA standards that I can manipulate on a Microsoft Word file. All that most districts and education departments are doing is posting a .pdf of the standards, which aren’t helpful when actually having to plan and teach the standards. I can see the annotations being helpful, too, if a state’s deconstructed standards are confusing.

To what degree do the annotated standards you post agree with California’s CCS? Of course, I’ve read the CCCS on the edu.ca.gov site?

Thanks for stopping by. Actually, I wrote the annotated CCS, and I have indicated that these annotated standards are not a part of the CCSS and are of my own creation. I have not taken the time to look at California’s specifically, but I do believe they align well. These are just intended for use as a guide, and not in any way a substitution for the actual standards.
